The Photo Tour in the Sierras of Córdoba offers an experience where photography and nature meet authentically. Over four days, we’ll explore valleys, mountains, and formations that seem sculpted by time, discovering Ongamira, Los Terrones, Altas Cumbres, Ansenuza and more.

Each day blends adventure and learning: moments observing wildlife—with the Andean condor as the main star—composition practice in ever-changing landscapes, and time to refine your technique with your camera in hand. The goal isn’t just to capture landscapes, but also to learn to read the light, anticipate scenes, and translate the vastness of nature into powerful images.

The small group ensures close, personalized guidance, with exchange flowing both during hikes and breaks. More than a trip, it’s an opportunity to connect with nature, enhance your photographic eye, and take home a visual record that will last long beyond the tour.

Each day is an immersion in the beauty of the Sierras. You'll explore some of the most striking spots in the Córdoba Sierras: Quebrada del Condorito National Park, Ongamira, and Los Terrones. On every outing, you'll encounter deep ravines, impressive rock formations, and trails surrounded by pristine nature. The Andean condor will take center stage in the sky, along with opportunities to observe and photograph various wildlife species and a landscape that blends history, mystique, and natural grandeur. Throughout the journey, every step becomes a chance to capture images that convey the strength and serenity of this region.

When the sun sets, the show continues. The Córdoba sky offers a clear night canopy where you can clearly see the Milky Way and practice astrophotography in areas far from light pollution. It’s the perfect time to experiment with long exposures, capture shooting stars, and learn techniques to reveal constellations in your images. Sharing the experience of observing and photographing the night sky in a natural setting is, without a doubt, one of the tour’s most memorable moments.

This tour is designed for anyone passionate about photography and eager to discover the magic of the Córdoba Sierras. Your age, experience level, or type of camera doesn't matter: all you need is an adventurous spirit and a desire to learn. You can take your first steps to better understand your camera, or, if you already have experience, use the landscapes and challenges of the environment to take your photography to the next level.

Small groups ensure close, personalized support. Each participant has their own perspective, and the goal is to help you enhance it through hands-on practice in the field. You'll learn to work with natural light in different conditions, improve your composition, make the most of your camera, and apply post-processing techniques. There will also be photo review sessions in a relaxed, collaborative environment. More than just a trip, this tour is an opportunity to grow as a photographer while enjoying nature at its fullest.

During the tour, we'll stay in local lodges and cabins designed to provide comfort after each day of exploration. The rooms have private bathrooms, and meals (breakfast, lunch, and dinner) are included, so you can focus entirely on enjoying the experience. The peaceful surroundings and direct contact with nature make the accommodation part of the charm, offering spaces to rest as well as areas to gather, share discussions, and review photographs as a group.

Internal transportation during the tour is fully organized so you don’t have to worry about logistics. You’ll have private 4x4 transfers to the different points on the itinerary, ensuring comfort, safety, and flexibility to make the most of every moment of light and every photographic opportunity. In addition, we take care of transportation to and from Córdoba Capital, so your experience flows seamlessly from the very beginning until your return.

PERFECT YOUR LOOK AND COMPOSITION

On each outing, we’ll guide you to see the surroundings with fresh eyes, discover original angles, and structure your compositions clearly and powerfully. You’ll practice how to tell stories through images, capturing the essence of the sierras’ landscapes and the flight of the Andean condor.

CUSTOMIZED REVIEW INSTANCES

During the tour, there will be moments dedicated to reviewing your photos up close and flexibly. We’ll analyze the technical and creative aspects of each image together, aiming to improve composition, optimize camera settings, and enhance your personal style.

Post-Processing and Development

You’ll also have the opportunity to work on your images during editing sessions. You’ll learn to adjust lighting, enhance colors and details, and create coherence in your photo series, ensuring each image reflects the experience lived on the tour.

Reception in Córdoba and transfer to the accommodation in Domos El Mirador, Ansenuza.

Welcome talk, group introduction, and itinerary overview.

Practical workshop on techniques for wildlife and landscape astrophotography with special permit at Ongamira Natural Park.
Breakfast and departure to Altas Cumbres, a place steeped in history and geology.

First stop for hike among rock formations and mystical valleys of Los Terrones Park with Andean Condor viewings and launch after continuing trip to Córdoba Highlands.

We arrive at our Hotel La Posta, Altas Cumbres.

In the afternoon, we'll visit Geological Natural Park Arch of the Sky, plan compositions for sunset and night photography.
Breakfast and image review in the morning.

Start the return journey route, with possible stops at Quebrada del Batán and Quebrada del Condorito National Park.

Return to Córdoba Capital.

1st and 2nd night – A Orilla del Río, Ongamira
We’ll spend two nights in this charming accommodation surrounded by nature. Amid rivers, valleys, and the characteristic silence of Ongamira, you’ll enjoy a relaxed atmosphere perfect for rest and contemplation. The ideal place to recharge after photography days.

More than 60 days in advance, we refund 100% of the initial deposit.

Between 59 and 30 days before the tour, 50% of the deposit is retained.

Less than 30 days before, no refunds are issued.

If the tour is canceled due to not reaching the minimum number of participants, we will offer a date change or a full refund.
To reserve your place, an initial deposit of 25% is required. The final payment must be completed no later than 5 days before the start of the tour.
The tour requires a minimum of 4 people. If this minimum is not reached, we will offer you a date change or a full refund.
The itinerary may be modified due to weather, logistics or force majeure, always guaranteeing the safety and quality of the experience.
Participants are responsible for their photography equipment and personal belongings. It is recommended to have your own insurance for protection against loss or damage.
Purchasing travel insurance that covers medical emergencies and other unforeseen events is recommended and is the sole responsibility of the participant.
The organizer reserves the right to cancel the tour for justified reasons (extreme weather, force majeure, etc.). In such cases, you will be notified as early as possible and offered a refund or date change.
